Heather Locklear

  Heather Deen Locklear (born September 25, 1961) is an American actress, best known for her role as Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place (1993-1999) and for which she was awarded four consecutive Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress - Television Series Drama. She also is famous for her character Sammy Jo Carrington on Dynasty from 1981 to 1989. This was her first television appearance, which began a longtime collaboration with producer Aaron Spelling.



 Other noteworthy TV roles include Lieutenant Stacy Sheridan, T. J. Hooker (1982-1986), and Caitlin Moor on Spin City (1999–2002), for which she was awarded two more Golden Globe nominations. This time for Best Actress — Television Series Musical or Comedy. A recurring role was hers on TV Land's sitcom Hot in Cleveland. She also had a prominent role in the TNT drama-comedy series Franklin & Bash in 2013. Her film roles include the science fiction thriller Firestarter (1984) and the action-packed comedy Money Talks(1997). She also appeared in the live action/animated comedy Looney Tunes: Back in Action(2003) and the romantic comedy The Perfect Man(2005).
